Country musician who was popular in the 1960s and who sang duets with country music singers like George Jones and Faron Young. She and George Jones recorded 'Keeping Up With The Joneses.' She grew up listening to blues and gospel music and started writing songs and playing guitar when she was a teenager. She worked at a munitions plant during the Korean War.
