Japanese film and television actor who appeared in Detective Story and The Family Game, both of which won Hochi Film Awards. In 1989, he appeared in Kareinaru Tsuiseki with Florence Griffith-Joyner. He started his acting after graduating from high school and joined many theatre companies, including Bungakuza.
