Indian actor and producer who has worked in Telugu cinema and won two Andhra Pradesh state Nani Awards in the Best Actor category and three South Filmfare Awards in the Best Actor category. He also received India's second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan. He made his acting debut at age 17 in the Telugu film Dharmapatni in 1941.
