Though he also performed as a stand-up comedian and contributed to several popular radio and television programs, this English entertainer is best known for writing popular plays such as Closer and After Miss Julie and for penning the screenplays for Fifty Shades of Grey and Notes on a Scandal. He studied at Wadham College, Oxford.
