In 2015, he released his mixtape I Tried To Tell Em, which appeared on nationally known hip hop sites WorldStarHipHop and HotNewHipHop. He was living outside of New Orleans, Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina. As a result, he lost most of his possessions. However, he signed his first record contract not long after.
