Known for both his live stand-up comedy shows and his regular appearances on television programs such as Last Comic Standing and Def Comedy Jam, this comedian also had an acting career, appearing on situation comedies such as Tyler Perry's House of Payne and Everybody Hates Chris. At the beginning of his comedy career, he was mentored by fellow Chicago comedian Godfrey C. Danchimah, Jr.
