Actor who played the lead role in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and starred as Bilbo Baggins in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film series. He portrayed the role of John in the 2003 film Love Actually. He first gained notoriety for playing Tim Canterbury on the UK series The Office. In 2014, he began playing Lester Nygaard on the FX series Fargo. When he was young, he was asthmatic and had to have a surgical operation on his hip.
