Most well known for her role as veterinarian Rhona Goskirk on the British soap opera Emmerdale, she is also notable for her recurring role as Casey Carswell on ITV's Coronation Street, as well as for her portrayal of Deanne Cunningham on EastEnders. While starring as Eliza Doolittle in a 2002 Manchester Metropolitan University staging of Pygmalion, she was singled out by the Manchester Evening News as the best actress in a stage production that year.
