Defender who began his professional career in 1996 for Leeds United and made his international debut for Ireland in the same year; joined Bournemouth in 2013 after spending three seasons with Reading. He played his youth soccer at St. Kevins FC, Drogheda United, Home Farm, and Leeds United.
