African-American singer who has become a J-Pop sensation since appearing on the reality show Nodo Jiman Za! World, releasing Platinu-selling albums like Heart Song. At the 28th Annual Japan Gold Disc Awards, he received the award for Best New Artist of the Year. He developed a fascination with Japanese culture as a child and moved to Tokyo at age 24. He then became the singer for the rock band Nikita w/Metallic Beasts.
