Known for his work in such Hindi films as Bachna Ae Haseeno and Jhankaar Beats, this award-winning Indian playback vocalist also released several solo albums, including Pal and Humsafar. He was the 2012 recipient of the Eenam-Swaralaya Singer of the Year Award. He studied business at Delhi University's Kirori Mal College and briefly worked in marketing before beginning his singing career.
