Football player most famous for having been a member of the 1971 Virginia State Champion T. C. Williams High School football team, which was portrayed in the 2000 Disney film Remember the Titans. He was later paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident and became an exceptional Paralympian, winning gold medals in the shot put and discus throw. He was born in Charlottesville, Virginia and grew up dreaming of winning an Olympic gold medal.
