Twentieth-century Macedonian expressionist painter who became known for his portraits. He began his most famous painting "Mother with Child" in the 1930s, but did not finish it until the 1960s. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bucharest, Romania, in 1927 and had his first exhibition two years later in Skopje.
