English pop singer who rose to fame in the late 50's and early 60's with singles like "Only Sixteen," which hit the top of the U.K. Singles Charts. Since his heyday, he has become a popular performer at cruise ships and night clubs across the world. He worked as a milkman before pursuing a professional singing career. He was named Best New Singer by NME magazine in 1959.
