Movie actor and director best known for his work in Malaysian black-and-white films of the 1950s and '60s. After appearing in the 1959 film, Pendekar Bujang Lapok, he played a role in Sumpah Wanita. He was born in Indonesia and moved with his family to Singapore at the age of three.
