Pioneer of underground journalism famous for his creation of underground publications like East Village Other and Other Scenes. He is also one of the five journalists responsible for co-founding The Village Voice. He got his start in the newspaper business writing for papers in his home country of England, such as The Daily Mail and the The Daily Mirror.
