Estonian writer who rose to prominence during the second half of the Twentieth Century. Her literary works include Meesteta Kula and A Summer's Painting and Other Stories. She graduated from Estonia's State Industrial Art School in 1940. She later worked as a journalist in Tallinn, Estonia.
