This first runner-up in the 2012 Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant went on to become the sixth-season champion of Univision's Nuestra Belleza Latina reality competition. She later appeared on the television variety show Sabado Gigante. Before competing in the Miss Universe Puerto Rico pageant, she was a finalist in the 2005 Miss Earth competition.
