Famous as one of the founders of the H&R Block tax company, this entrepreneur and philanthropist had several Kansas City landmarks erected in his honor, including the The Henry Wollman Bloch Fountain and the Bloch Building of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. After briefly studying at the University of Missouri Kansas City, he graduated from the University of Michigan and later attended Harvard University's Business School.
