Most well known for her portrayal of Claire Peacock in the popular British soap opera Coronation Street, she is also recognized for her role as Jenny Oulton on Mersey Beat and for her performance as Julie Pullen on Peak Practice. After training at the Burnley Youth Theatre in Lancashire, England, she made her screen acting debut as lead character Miranda Pudsey in the English children's series Three Seven Eleven.
