Guitarist and songwriter known for his work with Steely Dan, Chris Potter, and Michael Brecker. Also a solo jazz and fusion artist, he recorded such albums as 2 Drink Minimum and Long To Be Loose. Early in his career, he played a 1973 Fender Stratocaster guitar.
