Well known as one-half of the Grammy nominated duo The Foreign Exchange alongside Phonte, he is an electronica, R&B and hip hop producer who primarily uses live instruments rather than samples. As part of The Foreign Exchange, his song "Daykeeper" from the album Leave It All Behind was Grammy nominated for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. He has been an active record producer since 2000. He dropped his first solo release, titled City Lights Vol. 1, in 2005 after having released a record called Connected as part of The Foreign Exchange the year prior.
