Retired dairy farmer who became a popular Senate candidate in Vermont in 1998 but ultimately lost after endorsing his opponent. He appeared in the films Nosey Parker and Man with a Plan. He entered the political race in a publicity stunt, as part of the 1996 film Man With a Plan, created by his next-door-neighbor.
