Known for her role as Kacey Barry on BBC's Waterloo Road from 2013 to 2014, she also starred in the 2015 indie drama The Violators. She had waist-length hair when she went into the audition for Waterloo Road. During the audition they told her she would have to cut it to play Kacey but she wanted the part so much that she did. She confessed that she cried a lot about it and thought she looked horrible.
