Multimedia, postminimalist artist known for "Red Canvas," "Paper Octagonals," and other small-scale works. He also favored the silkscreen printing process, as evidenced by "Shirts" from 1978 and "Pants" from 1979. He graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1963. He then studied for one semester at Cooper Union, after which he joined the U.S. Air Force for a short time. He was employed by the Betty Parsons Gallery.
