Saxophonist and professor at Northwestern University School of Music, some of his famous students being Bunky Green, Ryo Noda, and Steve Cole. He attended the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee for music and the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester before beginning his teaching career.
