Australian politician who served as a Senator for the Australian Capital Territory from 2003 to 2013. Prior to that, he was Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory. He attended the Australian National University in Canberra and obtained his Bachelor of Arts and his Bachelor of Laws degrees.
