Croatian, Neo-avant-garde writer who published more than thirty-five poetry collections. His acclaimed works include The Four Questions of Melancholy, The Book for My Brother, and Feast. He served as the editor of the literary magazine Perspektive and was arrested in the 1960s for publishing politically-charged poetry.
