Poet whose best-known work, Through the Eyes of Childhood, was dedicated to family members who had been killed by the Nazis. Her other works include Lider and Gezangen. She left her native Poland for New York City during the 1920s. While living in New York, she studied at Hunter College and at the Jewish Teachers Seminary.
