Becoming best known for her role as Ernestine in the WGN series Underground, she had previously guest starred in notable series such as Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle and HBO's Girls. She was a background dancer at an event featuring Tracy Morgan for her debut as a performer at any level. She studied acting at Fordham University before heading to the graduate program at NYU Tisch.
