An American writer, producer, and screenwriter, he is best known for founding Dark Horse Comics and Dark Horse Entertainment. His screenwriting credits include The Mask and Timecop. Early in his career, he worked as a producer on a film called Barb Wire. The movie was nominated for a Razzie Award for the Worst Picture of 1996.
