Reggae singer most well known for his solo albums released throughout the 1980s which gained popularity in and out of dance halls. He is also well recognized as a lead vocalist for the group Black Uhuru which has gained significant popularity throughout Africa. He first began his singing career in 1973 as a member of the Jamaican reggae trio Black Uhuru. However, a year after the group made it's debut, he decided to embark on his solo career.
