Classical, reggae, and jazz composer, pianist, and cellist. He founded the FLUX quartet and performed with numerous musicians, including Charles Ives, Frank Zappa, and Phil Ramone. A child musical prodigy, he performed at the Metropolitan Opera and on Broadway before his tenth birthday and made his Carnegie Hall debut at the age of fifteen.
