Known for such indie rock and psychedelic pop albums as Mature Themes and Before Today, this Southern California-based musician became famous for his beat-boxing skills as well as for his vocals. He began writing music when he was ten years old, and he went on to attend the California Institute of the Arts. His debut album, House Arrest / Lover Boy, was released in 2002.
