Republican politician who was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2007. He also served as minister of the Hillcrest United Methodist Church in La Grange, Georgia. After graduating from Troy State University with a degree in business, he served in the Alabama National Guard and worked as an assistant U.S. Army Reserve chaplain.
