She is the twin sister of the creator of Disney's Gravity Falls. The Gravity Falls character Mabel Pines is based off of her. Her twin brother Alex Hirsch is a writer and cartoonist who created a show for Disney. While creating the show, he based the main character Dipper Pines on himself and decided to give him a twin sister Mabel, who he based off of her.
