Prolific journalist and author of non-fiction who is best known for his book The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and its Dangerous Legacy. The book, published in 2010, earned him the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction. He graduated from the University of Delaware. He then moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the Capitol News Service as a journalist.
