Minimalist sculptor whose most famous works sit in Munster (Germany), Marfa (Texas, U.S.), and Jerusalem (Israel). He detested the term, minimalism, and was focused more on eliminating compositional hierarchy from his work. He attended the College of William and Mary, where he studied philosophy. He finished his degree at Columbia University School of General Studies and studied with Meyer Schapiro and Rudolf Wittkower for his Master's in art history.
