Luxembourg-born modern artist whose works included paintings, sculptures, and stained-glass windows. His 1975 work on the Church of the Holy Spirit in Cents is particularly admired. He moved to Paris at age twenty to study art at the cole nationale sup rieure des Beaux-Arts, the Sorbonne, and the Institut d'art et d'arch ologie. He was a student of Paul Klee and Oskar Mool at the Kunstakademie in D sseldorf, Germany.
