Best known for his role as Kazim in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, he also portrayed Max in a 1970s and 1980s British comedy series called Mind Your Language. His early acting credits include the English thriller The Man Who Haunted Himself and the 1978 movie Midnight Express.
