Willie Perry Jr., better known by his stage name DJ Casper is best known as the creator of "Casper Slide Pt. 1," now more affectionately remembered as the dance hit "Cha Cha Slide." He created the Cha Cha Slide for his nephew who was working as a personal trainer in 1998. It was from there that the song gained popularity in fitness clubs as aerobic exercise.
