Colombian actress who was hailed as an up-and-coming star for her role as M nica in the 1998 drama La Vendedora de Rosas. Her rise was short-lived, as she was later sentenced to twelve years in prison for her role in the 2002 murder of a taxi driver. She was raised in an orphanage after being abandoned by her family. As a child, she made a living by selling roses on the street.
