Remembered best for her role as Mo Butcher on the popular British soap opera EastEnders, Dore also appeared in the 1988 movie High Hopes and in episodes of Casualty, Holby City, and The Bill. During the World War II years, she entertained Allied troops as a member of the Entertainments National Service Association (ENSA). She later danced and acted at the Whitehall Theatre and the Royal National Theatre (both in London, England).
