Known for his production work on the Victor Salva-directed film Powder and on the Emilio Estevez feature Bobby, he founded the Mass Hysteria Entertainment movie production company and also served as CEO of National Lampoon, Incorporated. Early in his career, he worked as a writer and executive producer on such 1980s television programs as Goldie and the Bears and Northstar.
