Bio:

A British writer and political commentator, he published a biography of The Queen Mother in 2009. His earlier work, Sideshow: Kissinger, Nixon and the Destruction of Cambodia (1979), received a Pulitzer Prize nomination. After graduating from University College, Oxford and St. Martin's Art School, he became a political journalist for The Sunday Times. He later wrote articles for The Washington Post, Newsweek, and Time, among other publications.
