Best known for his role as Detective Zain Nadir in the British ITV drama The Bill, he also had recurring roles in such English and American television series as Casualty, 24, and Twisted. Immediately after studying at St. Lawrence College -- a boarding school in Kent, England -- he pursued a screen acting career in Australia.
