Tamil cinema actor who had breakout hits in Paiyaa and Naan Mahaan Alla in 2010. His performance as the title character in Paruthiveeran earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He studied engineering in school and worked as a consultant, but found the work too monotonous.
