British comedian, radio host, author, and actor who played Dennis Potter on the series Lipstick on Your Collar. He is also a prolific voice on the radio and starred in the title role in The Newly Discovered Casebook of Sherlock Holmes in 1999. He was an advertising agency's messenger, a commercial artist, and a window dresser.
