Singer, songwriter, and actor who founded and was the lead singer of Ian Dury and the Blockheads, a rock 'n' roll band known for singles like "What a Waste." He painted commercial illustrations for The Sunday Times in the 1970s. One of his first bands was called Kilburn & the High Roads.
