Notable for her childhood roles as Chloe and Young Lisa in the respective movies Life During Wartime (2009) and Clutter (2013), Hinz shared the screen with prominent television actress Allison Janney in the former movie. She made her screen debut in the 2008 horror movie Pink Eye.
